Ahmed Elkady, MBA, is the Director of the Americas at Kpler, where he has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s commercial presence since joining in 2020. As one of the first commercial hires in the region, he built out the global new business team across the U.S., LATAM, and EMEA. Before Kpler, Ahmed worked in investment and trading, most recently at Gerald Metals in London and New York, focusing on base metals trading and risk management. He holds an MBA in International Business and Finance from the University of Connecticut and is fluent in English, Arabic, and Spanish.

Alessandro Armenia leads Kpler's Power Analytics team. He holds 3 nationalities and speaks 5 languages (Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, English). He earned a BSc in physics engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a master's in Energy Engineering from IST Portugal and École Polytechnique France. Before Kpler, he worked at TotalEnergies as a CCS analyst on modelling and techno-economic analysis. He also hosted the InnoStation podcast for 2 years, interviewing 15+ energy startup CEOs. At Kpler, Alessandro develops Power Insights (technical reports, articles, price forecasts) and presents to clients. His expertise covers European power markets, especially short-term and balancing markets in the CWE region.

Alex Booth is VP Insight at Kpler, the leading provider of data and analytics in commodity markets. He's an energy industry veteran with over a decade of experience at BP and Citigroup, specialising in fundamentals research across crude, products, and gases. Since joining Kpler in 2018, Alex has been key in developing Kpler's transparency products. He now leads the research function, delivering insights to the commodity community using Kpler's proprietary data. Following the March 2022 acquisition of JBC Energy, Alex drove the integration into Insight, Kpler's independent research product launched in August 2022.
