Meet the speakers

Reid I'Anson
Macroeconomist

Reid joined Kpler over six years ago as a crude analyst and has grown alongside the company ever since. Based in Houston, Reid has a near decade of experience studying the intersection between global demand conditions and the state of commodity markets with a particular focus on emerging markets. Before joining Kpler, Reid obtained a masters degree in Economics from the University of Houston. He also holds a bachelors degree in Finance. You will regularly find him quoted in the financial press or appearing on tv to provide timely updates on the state of commodity markets across the globe.

Charles Costerousse

Charles joined Kpler in May 2020 and started in the market data operations team focusing on LPG and LNG. He has since joined the Insight team in early 2024 focusing on global LNG trade and European natural gas, more specifically, he is responsible for the supply balances for key basins, following market trends and ad-hoc analysis.

Dimitris Ampatzidis
Senior Risk & Compliance Analyst

Dimitris is a Senior Risk and Compliance Analyst with deep shipping industry expertise in risk assessment, governance, and data analytics. He has led the launch of industry-standard risk products and developed comprehensive sanctions and compliance protocols. At Lloyd’s Register, he was the go-to expert for Port State Control (PSC) analytics, delivering training to shipping professionals and developing emissions reporting and sanctions frameworks. Previously, he helped build the RISK4SEA platform at SAFETY4SEA. He holds Master’s degrees in IT Project Management and Information Systems, and a Bachelor’s in Statistics and Insurance Science.

Victoria is part of Kpler's crude analysis unit within the wider research team, covering crude supply and demand dynamics, flows, and developments on the African continent. She is currently based in Vienna, Austria.
