Roslan is the Principal Heavy Distillates Analyst in Kpler's Insight team with over a decade of experience in the energy industry, particularly in Asia and the Middle East. He began his career as a freelancer across Southeast Asia, Middle East and Central America, then as a Reuters energy journalist in Singapore specialising in global fuel oil markets, as well as middle and light distillates, crude oil and shipping. He moved into analytics in 2022 and leverages data and market intelligence to deliver sharp insights helping clients identify critical risks and opportunities. Roslan is based in Singapore and holds an MSc in Finance & Investments from Rotterdam School of Management. He is fluent in English, Arabic and Bulgarian.

Homayoun brings over 11 years of experience in theoil and gas industry, with a strong track record inmarket analysis and strategic insight. ​He leads Kpler’s crude oil analysis team, managing ateam of analysts focused on global oil marketdynamics, from supply and demand fundamentals togeopolitical drivers.​ Homayoun frequently delivers insights to globalclients and speaks at major industry events.​ Homayoun holds an MSc in Energy Management fromESCP Europe and an MA in MENA Geopolitics fromSciences Po Grenoble. He is fluent in Farsi and French and is based in Paris, France.

Baptiste is a product builder specialized in creating innovative solutions for AI products, data distribution, and accessibility within the energy and commodity markets. Baptiste holds a Master’s degree from the Toulouse School of Economics, his background includes experience as a maritime and energy consultant in London, where he learned the value of translating big data into clear, actionable insights for the business. At Kpler, he focuses on AI products and data distribution, with a simple goal of helping users move beyond basic dashboards to find genuine intelligence in their data. He is passionate about finding user-centric ways to solve technical challenges and is always eager to learn how technology can better serve the needs of the global commodity mar

Matthew Wright is the Lead Freight Analyst at Kpler. In his role, he leads on providing clients with expertise, analysis and research on the freight markets. Prior to Kpler, Matthew was a Senior Tanker Analyst at SSY ship brokers, where he was responsible for analysing oil tanker markets, leading the development of new models and handling consulting inquiries. Matthew has extensive oil market experience from seven years in consulting at Argus Media where he worked on a range of single client projects before moving on to manage the delivery the subscription reports focusing on freight, crude and refined products.

Go Katayama is a Principal Insights Analyst - LNG & Natural Gas at Kpler based in Tokyo with over a decade of experience in analyzing global LNG markets for various clients and internal stakeholders. He leads Kpler Insights fundamental analysis on Asian demand. Prior to joining Kpler, he was Senior LNG analyst and Japan power regulation Advisor at Shell and global LNG consultant at Poten & Partners. He holds a masters degree in Global Energy Policy from New York University.

With over seven years of experience in the oil products and petchem industry, Ciaran started his career at I.C.I.S in early 2017, sitting on their European petchems desk before moving onto their oil products desk to cover naphtha. Ciaran has worked for Energy Aspects, FGE, and Dow Jones as a Senior Light Ends analyst specialising in West of Suez LPG and naphtha markets. Ciaran joined Kpler in January 2024 as an NGLs specialist to help the team expand and deepen Insight’s global NGLs coverage. He is currently based in London, England.
