Before joining Kpler in 2022, Scott was VP of Engineering at Wood Mackenzie, where he led development of Lens, their data and analytics platform. At Kpler, he has rapidly scaled the engineering team and built systems processing billions of real-time data points daily, enhancing data-driven decision-making for global markets. With deep expertise in AI, big data, and scalable systems, Scott leverages technology to drive customer-centric solutions in commodity trading.

Baptiste is a product builder specialized in creating innovative solutions for AI products, data distribution, and accessibility within the energy and commodity markets. Baptiste holds a Master’s degree from the Toulouse School of Economics, his background includes experience as a maritime and energy consultant in London, where he learned the value of translating big data into clear, actionable insights for the business. At Kpler, he focuses on AI products and data distribution, with a simple goal of helping users move beyond basic dashboards to find genuine intelligence in their data. Ahmed is Director of Engineering at Kpler, where he leads Cloud Platform Engineering and drives the adoption of AI across the organization. With a focus on turning emerging technologies into tangible business value, he is spearheading the development of agentic AI capabilities that transform how engineering teams operate, automate complex workflows, and accelerate innovation. His work spans AI infrastructure, intelligent automation, and the integration of AI into enterprise systems, with security, scalability, and trust at the core. He is passionate about bridging the gap between AI's potential and its practical impact, helping Kpler build the foundations for the next generation of AI-powered products and services.

Austin is a product leader with 10+ years in commodity market data. A St. Lawrence University Computer Science graduate, he spent six years at ClipperData, rising from data analyst to VP of Data Strategy and Process, shaping how crude and refined flows were cleaned, structured, and delivered to traders. He joined Kpler in 2021 and leads the Data Ecosystem, the distribution layer bringing Kpler data into clients’ environments, from Snowflake and BI connectors to Kafka streaming and the Excel Add-in. He works on Kpler’s MCP tooling, letting AI assistants query commodity and maritime data in natural language, and regularly demos AI-driven market analysis across the US. He’s passionate about making data-native AI practical, so data works wherever workflows live.

Shuja Sohrawardy leads the Americas Generative AI Strategist team within the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center, where they act as a trusted advisor to customers navigating their generative AI journey. Their team helps organizations imagine, design, and bring new generative AI applications to life, working backwards from business value to prioritize use cases, then building and implementing practical, innovative solutions that turn that strategy into results.
