Jean-Charles Gordon

Director of Ship Tracking

Jean-Charles brings over a decade of experience in the maritime industry, having held key positions at maritime intelligence firms, satellite technology startups, and within the government sector. His extensive expertise in maritime data analytics, vessel tracking technologies, and data quality programs positions him as a leading authority in the field. As the Ship Tracking Business Unit Director at Kpler, Jean-Charles oversees the maritime and compliance product portfolios, delivering critical support to Kpler’s growing customer base. His leadership ensures the provision of cutting-edge solutions that enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance for Kpler clients.

Gillian Boccara

Director - LNG & Natural Gas

Gillian joined Kpler in September 2024 and leads our global LNG and natural gas service across Flows and Insight. She has worked in the commodity industry for the past 15 years with roles spanning research, trading and consulting. She has focused on the gas and LNG markets for the past 11 years, initially working as a hedge trader for the LNG desk at Gazprom Marketing & Trading and later leading the Natural Gas team for Energy Solutions at McKinsey & Company serving clients on strategic and commercial topics globally. Gillian is based in London and holds a Phd in Atmospheric Physics from Ecole Polytechnique and an MSci in Physics from Imperial College.

Shruti Bansal

Director of Chartering

12 years+ of experience in the Commodities & Maritime industry ranging from Trading & Analytics to Product Development, Strategy and Leadership, in large corporations as well in hyper-growth scale-up. Highly focused on leveraging business experience & understanding customer needs to develop solutions for the various challenges faced by the Maritime industry today.

Adam Emirali

Head of sales - chartering

Adam Emirali is Kpler's head of chartering sales. With over a decade of experience across maritime & tech in sales and business development, Adam is bringing a focus to chartering for Kpler's product & sales teams with his extensive expertise in the industry.

Panos Dragounis

Ship Tracking Commercial Director

Panos holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, and International Relations from Brown University (GPA 4.0) and a Graduate Degree in Marine Business Management. He has held various commercial, financial, and executive roles in media, yachting, travel and technology, and founded multiple businesses in publishing, brokerage, chartering, and global exports. Previously, Panos was Global Head of Sales at MarineTraffic during its acquisition by Kpler in 2023. He is currently Ship Tracking Commercial Director at Kpler, focusing on market expansion, revenue growth, and aligning business goals with customer needs to drive long-term success.‍

Michael Kujda

Head of Sales - Account Management (EMEA Maritime)

Michael Kujda brings 15 years of experience in sales and account management, with the past decade dedicated to the maritime sector. He currently serves as the Head of Account Management for Maritime in the EMEA region at Kpler.

Tobias Schnabel

Dry Bulk Freight Data Analyst

Tobias Schnabel specializes in analyzing global shipping and commodity markets at Kpler. As a Freight Data Scientist, he transforms dry bulk freight data into actionable market intelligence that helps industry stakeholders make informed decisions. With academic training from Oxford and Maastricht University in statistics and econometrics, Tobias applies analytical methods to identify patterns in shipping data and forecast market trends. His work contributes to a deeper understanding of global freight dynamics for clients navigating the commodity markets.
