Kpler co-founders François Cazor and Jean Maynier have chosen to advance Mark Cunningham to the role of Chief Executive Officer.
Mark joined Kpler in 2021 from Wood Mackenzie and has played a key role in the company’s growth in recent years. During his time as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), and most recently Chief Operating Officer (COO), Kpler has completed six acquisitions, grown to over 600 employees, brought on minority investors Insight Partners and Five Arrows, and surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in December 2023. All while maintaining over 40% organic growth and operating profitably, since inception.
François Cazor and Jean Maynier will now transition to roles as Executive Chairman and President, focusing on strategic initiatives and strengthening customer and partner relationships to advance Kpler’s vision as a leader in global trade intelligence.
As part of the leadership evolution, Romain Bescou has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Scott Sherwood is the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
This leadership change will support Kpler’s ongoing product innovation, with several exciting launches planned in the coming months. The company's ambition over the coming years is to reach $1 billion in ARR, which will involve expanding into new products and verticals, as well as pursuing strategic M&A activity.
Kpler looks forward to Mark Cunningham’s leadership as CEO and remains focused on its path of growth and product development.
As we always say, we are just getting started!
